Terms of Service

JG Search Group Effective date: October 20, 2026

These terms apply when you use jgsearchgroup.com or buy any JG Search Group digital product: the Seat Signals weekly brief, Seat Map, Seat Map Lite, or a newsletter sponsorship. By subscribing or buying, you agree to these terms.

1. Products and prices

  • Seat Signals, Individual Monthly — $45 per month
  • Seat Signals, Individual Annual — $395 per year
  • Seat Signals, Firm Annual — $3,000 per year, for up to 5 named readers
  • Seat Map — $2,500, one-time
  • Seat Map Lite — $495, one-time: a research-backed snapshot of the leadership seats a healthcare tech or services company is likely to need next, based on dated public triggers, delivered by email within 3 business days.
  • Newsletter sponsorship — $500 per issue

Prices are in US dollars and are shown at checkout. Payments are processed by Stripe. Prices exclude any applicable taxes.

2. Subscriptions renew automatically

Seat Signals subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period (monthly or annually) at the then-current price, and your payment method on file is charged unless you cancel before the renewal date. If we change the price, we will tell you by email before your next renewal.

3. Cancelling

You can cancel at any time through the customer portal at https://billing.stripe.com/p/login/14AcN65qj0Qa74AdlBejK00. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period. You keep access until then, and you will not be charged again.

4. Refunds

  • Monthly plans: no refunds or partial refunds for the current month.
  • Annual plans (Individual and Firm): no partial refunds for unused time, except as follows. An annual plan is fully refundable if you request it within 14 days of purchase and you have received fewer than 2 issues. Email jeremy@jgsearchgroup.com to request it.
  • Promotional pricing: a refund, where given, is the amount you actually paid.
  • Seat Map and Seat Map Lite: non-refundable once delivery work begins. Work on a Seat Map begins when we confirm your order by email; Seat Map Lite becomes non-refundable 1 business day after purchase. If you cancel before then, you get a full refund.
  • Sponsorships: refundable in full if we decline your sponsor copy or if you cancel at least 7 days before the scheduled issue; non-refundable after that.

5. Promotions

Promotion codes apply only as stated in the offer. The FOUNDING code gives 20% off the first payment of any Seat Signals plan, is limited to the first 100 redemptions, and expires November 30, 2026, at 11:59 PM Central Time. Later renewals are billed at the regular price. Codes have no cash value and can't be combined unless we say so.

6. Credits toward other work

  • Seat Map fee ($2,500) is credited in full toward a JG Search Group retained search.
  • Seat Map Lite fee ($495) is credited toward a full Seat Map or a JG Search Group retained search.

Credits are valid for 12 months from purchase and apply only to the company that bought the product.

7. Firm license (Firm Annual plan)

The Firm Annual plan covers up to 5 named readers at the subscribing organization. You'll give us the readers' names and email addresses, and you may swap a reader by emailing us. Readers must be employees or contractors of the subscribing organization.

8. Your license and no redistribution

Your purchase gives you a personal (or, for Firm plans, an internal, up-to-5-reader) license to read and use the content for your own business decisions. You may not resell, republish, forward to non-subscribers, post publicly, share log-ins or access, or load the content into a shared database or tool for others' use, without our written permission. Quoting a short excerpt with credit to JG Search Group is fine. We may suspend or end access, without refund, for violations of this section.

9. What the content is — and isn't

  • Seat Signals, Seat Map, and Seat Map Lite are research compiled from public sources, such as press releases, company announcements, news coverage, funding databases, and company careers pages. Each item carries a dated source where available.
  • Our views on which roles a company is likely to hire are opinions and estimates, not guarantees.
  • The content is not investment, financial, legal, or employment advice, and is not a recommendation to buy or sell any security or to hire or not hire any person.
  • Public information can be incomplete or out of date. We work to be accurate but don't guarantee that every item is complete, current, or error-free.

10. Confidentiality

Our research never names JG Search Group clients, candidates, or confidential searches.

11. Sponsorships

Sponsored content is clearly labeled as sponsored. All sponsor copy, links, and images are subject to our approval, and we may decline or edit any sponsorship to fit our standards. Sponsorship does not influence our research or which companies appear in it. Sponsors are responsible for the accuracy of their own content.

12. Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, JG Search Group is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for decisions made based on our content. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

13. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Missouri, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute will be heard in the state or federal courts located in Jackson County, Missouri.

14. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. We'll post the new version on this page with a new effective date. For significant changes, we'll email active subscribers before the change takes effect. Continuing to use a product after the effective date means you accept the updated terms.
