This policy explains, in plain English, what information JG Search Group ("we," "us") collects through jgsearchgroup.com and our paid products (Seat Signals, Seat Map, Seat Map Lite, and newsletter sponsorships), how we use it, and the choices you have.
What we collect
Information you give us - Name and email address when you sign up for our free newsletter, subscribe to Seat Signals, or buy a product. - Company details when you check out, such as business name, company website, and (for Seat Map Lite) an optional note about what prompted your purchase. - Billing address if our payment processor asks for it at checkout. - Anything you send us by email or phone.
Payment information Payments are handled by Stripe. Your card or bank details go directly to Stripe; we do not see or store your full card number. Information collected automatically - Website analytics. Our site runs on Squarespace, which collects standard visit data (such as pages viewed, referring site, browser and device type, and approximate location) and may use cookies to do so. How we use it
- To deliver what you signed up for or bought: newsletter issues, Seat Signals issues, Seat Map and Seat Map Lite deliverables, and sponsor placements.
- To manage your subscription, process payments, send receipts, and handle cancellations.
- To reply to your questions.
- To understand which pages and issues are useful, so we can improve them.
- To meet legal, tax, and accounting obligations.
We may also contact you about JG Search Group services if you are a customer or have asked us to.
Who we share it with
We share information only with the service providers that help us run the business, and only as needed for them to do so: - Stripe — payments, subscriptions, and the customer billing portal - Kit — email delivery and subscriber lists - Squarespace — website hosting, signup forms, and site analytics
We may also disclose information if required by law, or as part of a sale or transfer of the business.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not rent or trade our subscriber lists.
Your choices
- Unsubscribe from any email at any time using the link at the bottom of every email.

- Ask us to access, correct, or delete your information by emailing jeremy@jgsearchgroup.com. Some records (such as payment and tax records) may need to be kept for legal or accounting reasons.
- Cookies. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; parts of the site may not work as well.
How long we keep it
We keep subscriber information while you are subscribed and for a reasonable period afterward. We keep payment records as long as needed for tax and accounting purposes, up to 7 years for financial records.
Security
We rely on established providers (Stripe, Kit, Squarespace) to store and process data, and we limit access to the information we hold. No method of storage or transmission is completely secure.
Children
Our site and products are for business professionals and are not directed to anyone under 18.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy. We will post the new version on this page with a new effective date, and for significant changes we will notify subscribers by email.
